  • What is Tier One Basketball?
    We are a youth basketball organization headquartered in Hong Kong. We specialize in skill and character development.
  • Is your program available all year round?
    Tier One Basketball is available throughout the year. Depending on the program you are signed up for, dates will vary. If you would like more information on this, please contact us:
  • What ages are eligible to attend Tier One Basketball?
    Boys and Girls ages 5-18+.
  • Do you have your own facility?
    No, we utilize the Hong Kong Government (LCSD) facilities, schools, and churches to administer our programs. Currently, the venue locations are located in Central/Western and Southside HK Island.
  • What is the language of instruction?
    All courses are conducted in English.
  • What is the cost per class?
    It is a priority of Tier One to provide the highest quality of basketball training at an affordable price.   • How can I pay?

  • For payments, is it possible to make payments in advance, or must we make payment on the first day of each program?"
    All session should be paid for either in advance or on the first session of the season. You are only confirmed when payment is made.
  • Can I pro-rate the fee for my child?

  • Will there be a makeup session if my child misses a session? Can we receive a refund for missed class?
    Students are free to make-up a maximum of 2 missed class in any other Tier One Basketball Program during the same term of the missed class. Missed classes cannot be made up after the term has ended for any reason. If you are unable to make up the session within the term, we will provide a credit for a future term/camp for up to 2 missed classes. **Tier One Basketball does not issue refunds for missed sessions, no matter the cause even injury.
  • How experienced must my child be?
    No prior experience is required! We welcome all who wish to join and we do not turn anybody away because of lack of experience or skill. We are open to anybody who loves sport and wishes to train and grow with us.
  • What do we need to bring to each session?
    Tier One Uniform, water, and basketball shoes
  • What is the typical class size and what is the ratio of coaches to students?
    Classes range from 1 to 18 players. We have a STRICT policy to have 1 coach for every 6 students. We believe it is very important to maintain this ratio to ensure that students receive personalized attention. **For after-school enrichment programs classes range from 1 to 30 players. We employ 1 coach for every 10 students.
  • Is it possible for my child join a program after the start date?
    Yes, depending on available space students can join at any point in the term for a pro-rated price.
  • Why are there schedule changes?
    We utilize the Hong Kong Government (LCSD) facilities to conduct our programs. Theses facilities can become unavailable due to being open to the public, other organizations and reserved for government activities. For any changes made to the course schedule, we will update on our website - weekly schedule page. We recommend parents and student-athletes to frequently check the weekly schedule page for any changes.
